Look here to see our calendar of events for the ranch. We try and have a variety of events, classes and tours to educate you about the ownership of our special alpacas. Some of the events relate to learning about the husbandry and breeding, some relate to the fiber and others are all about just enjoying these special creatures. We also have the alpaca farms store hours. If you need something when we are closed, the alpaca farm store is online at www.mhralpacas.com/shop

It is about 45 minutes of education and 15 minutes feeding and walking the alpacas. We will also explain the qualities of the alpacas fiber with examples in the store.
The ranch rules are based on the safety and well being of our alpacas .While we love dogs (we have a golden retriever at home and a Maremma livestock guardian dog in the barn), domesticated dogs are the number one predator of alpacas in the United States. Therefore, for the benefit of our alpacas, we ask that you not bring dogs on the ranch. We have also been asked if our visitors can walk through the pastures to see the alpacas. Our vet has advised us that since we do not know what might be on our guests shoes, not to allow anyone other than us in the pastures for the safety of our alpacas.
If you have any questions about visiting the ranch or want to setup a reservation for an intensive tour, please call Jennifer at 503-407-3699
